Avatar Book 2, Disc 3 – spoiler-friendly reaction post
This post is for commentary with SPOILERS for episodes beyond Book 2, Disc 3.
Chapter 12: Journey to Ba Sing Se, Part 1 – The Serpent's Pass
I like the team-up of Zuko and Jet. I feel like it wasn't resolved very well, though. In general, the end of Jet's storyline was…meh.
Chapter 14: City of Walls and Secrets
Why do people hate Jet. Ugh. He's misguided, yes, but he's not bad. It reminds me of this fantastic meta essay called "A Persistent Flattening and Polarizing Impulse" by![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
angua9, which I will link to in a separate post, because it is too good a link to put behind a cut that only a handful of people on my flist will click. So stay tuned. It is well worth your time to read it (if you haven't seen it before, which I know some of you have).
