Tribond!

Here are some more old Tribond questions that I wrote for the FAP thread. I don’t think I used any of these at [livejournal.com profile] wahleecon, but if I’ve misremembered, forgive me. Anyway, there’s still plenty of folx on my flist who missed the Tribond games at WC, so even if I messed up, they’ll be new to at least some of you.

ETA: It occurred to me that some folx may not know what Tribond is. Basically, each Tribond question names three things that are related in some way. The object is to figure out the common thread. Here's an example:

Q: Christmas...Thanksgiving...H/Hr shippers
A: Pumpkin pie

Got it? [/edit]

1. Marietta...Gollum...The Cheat
2. Eloise Midgen...Moody...Neville
3. Christmas dinner in PS/SS...the Southeastern United States...an hors d’oeuvre platter
4. Mrs. Finnegan...Mr. Thomas...Mrs. Riddle
5. Harry...Lily...Dobby
6. Wingardium Leviosa...Venus...werewolves
7. Harry...Draco...Aunt Marge
8. Harry/Hermione...Dumbledore/M. Pomfrey...Remus/Tonks
9. Remus/Hermione...Remus/Ginny...Ron/Draco
10. Salazar Slytherin...Grima, son of Galmod...Lyra Belacqua
11. Peter Pettigrew...Frodo Baggins...Will Parry
12. Hagrid’s pumpkin patch...the doorway to 4 Privet Dr...Harry’s bedside in GT

Also, does anyone remember who came up with the one that was “Professor Flitwick...Cedric...Dudley”? I thought that was a really good one, and I was wondering if I could post it on the Tribond thread at FAP, as I believe it needs a bit of a revival. LMK if that's okay.

“Professor Flitwick...Cedric...Dudley” Yes, that was me (though I used the other person as the second one, but this way is better). You can certainly use it!

Green eyes!

2. Eloise Midgen...Moody...Neville

Nose stuff. Eloise's disappeared when she tried to get rid of her acne, Moody's has a chunk missing, and Neville broke his.

2. Eloise Midgen...Moody...Neville

I'm thinking that this has something to do with their noses...they've all had injuries to it?

5. Harry...Lily...Dobby

They all have green eyes?

I have no idea for any of the others. Great challenge!

1. Sneaks!
4. Muggles?
10. Something-tongue
11. Missing a finger (or two)

Those are the only ones I got right away, not counting the few that we already did at Wahleecon. I'd love to stop and work on the others now, but I must get to bed! I hope you keep posting these, though...they're really fun. :D

Harry, Draco, and Aunt Marge: is it that they all fly in Book Three?
